What we do

Small groups. Real teachers. Free.

Everything we do is organized into streams. A stream is a set period of time where students and volunteer teachers meet to learn together. Between streams, the team plans the next one.

Language streams

Time-boxed learning cycles. Students and volunteer teachers meet regularly through the stream, learning together in small groups.

Volunteer roles

Teachers lead the classes. SMM volunteers help us tell the story. Curators keep everything organised behind the scenes.

Community

It's not just class time — it's an international community of people who care about language, learning, and each other.

Format

Online.

Classes take place online so anyone with an internet connection can join.

Small groups.

Group sizes are kept small so every student actually gets to speak.

Free.

No fees for students, ever. The project runs on volunteer time.
